Diego Huerta

My research focuses on characterizing exposures to metal(loid)s in the environment through community based participatory research. I work on the Community Health Impacts from Mining Exposures (CHIME) to help gather and analyze data about metal(loid) concentrations in people's soil, dust, water, and plants, as well as participant behaviors associated with exposures to these metal(loid)s.
